Flower Pin

I have went through a period of making all kinds of felt and ribbon flowers.  There are a ton of different possibilities with shapes and colors!  I like how they add a punch of color to whatever you put them on!

Slipcover for our camera strap

I finally got around to making a slipcover for our camera strap.  It is always rewarding to beautify something with just a bit of time.  This was truly one of the easiest things I’ve ever sewn.  It does tend to slide around just a little, so next time I might make it slightly tighter.

Elephant Love

This was the latest onesie that I made for my preggo cousin.  I used a iron-on patch and cut it into the elephant shape and then hand stitched all around it.  I always love the finished product, but wish that they didn’t take so long to hand stitch!  Hope she likes it!

T-shirt Scarf

This scarf was made out of an old t-shirt!  I cut it into 4 by 4 squares and lined them up on the diagonal.  Next I did a zig-zag stitch down the middle, making sure the catch the points of every square.  The squares drape nicely.  I want to make a few more of these [...]

Elastic Belt

This elastic belt was made from a few found objects around my house!  I had the flower pin from something I had bought awhile back and the clasp was something my mom had given me and I never quite knew what to do with it.  I sewed on a button in the middle of the [...]
